| . 小学生のとき図書館から、手当たり次第に乱歩の「少年探偵団シリーズ」を借り出した時期があり、 友人の中には、このシリーズで「初めて厚い本１冊全部読んだ」というひとも たいへん多かったです。 とにかく、怪しい犯罪のにおいのする事件に小林少年と明智探偵が胸のすく解決をしてくれる・・・ 怖いもの見たさと、「最後は明智探偵がいる」安心感で、乱歩の作り出す小説の世界にはまり込みました。 友達と、「少年探偵の隠れ家」をつくって、「探偵道具」をひそかに隠していたことも懐かしいです。 乱歩の「少年探偵団シリーズ」は、少年向け読み物として不朽の名作と称してよいのではないでしょうか。 | ||||

| I don’t always enjoy books which find themselves on the Bestseller and Book Club lists but this one surprised me. What a wonderfully new subject for a book. This book was very well written! | I read this on my Kindle, and I kept checking the % to see how much I had left. When I reached 67% I wanted to slow my reading down because I didn't want this book to end. However, the story was so lovely and gripping that I couldn't stop. I finished the last page with a sigh and then thought about the book the rest of the day This book is so compelling! | I very often look at books based on their titles. I liked the title and began. That was such an extraordinary book I read this book in one day and can't stop thinking about it. There are several clues to the surprise ending if you pay attention to the details. I'm a huge fan of everything this author writes and this was equally of the high standard I expect. Looking forward to reading more by this wonderful writer. | ||||

| Obviously the title is not instructing the reader to stop taking care in interest in EVERYTHING, so if that thought never crossed your mind upon reading the title, then I suggest you read this. Be warned, you will not want to put this book down until you reach the end..... I bought it for my sister and my best friend, and they both wrote to thank me for it after they finished it--best book they'd read in a long time too. This is one of those books that I will keep thinking of and won't easily forget. | ||||

| 小学４年生の時の「幽鬼の塔」での乱歩デヴュー以来ひたすら乱歩の謎に付き合ってきた。中学の頃にはほぼコンプリートしたと思っていた、少年探偵団シリーズ以外は。 子供読者の自分が、少年探偵団を子供向きに書かれたアホらしい話と捉えていたのだ。だから明智小五郎は知ってても小林少年とか二十面相などはＴＶや映画のキャラクターでしか知り得なかった。 年月が経ち今回電子書籍にて青空文庫を知り試しに読んでみた。 他のレヴューでは異口同音に皆さん「懐かしい」とのこと。舞台の昭和20年台が懐かしいのではなく、昔子供だった頃の読書体験を回顧しての思いだと思う。ところが自分にとっては初めての体験だったし、意外や非常に面白く読ませて頂いた。しかしこれは今だから歳を重ねたから感じるものかも知れない。正直一気読みだった。 しかし当時の自分が読んでいたらどう感じていただろう、という疑問は残る。あの多くの名作を書いた乱歩がこんなものを書くなんて …、とかね。 しかし面白かったし、いろいろ突っ込みどころはあるが、次の「少年探偵団」「妖怪博士」を手にしたのは言うまでもない。 | ||||

| 子供の頃、江戸川乱歩作品は薄気味悪い、怖いというイメージでした。40代になって作品の独特の静けさを好むようになり大人向けの作品を時々読んでいたが、やはり読み続けると嫌な薄気味悪さが脳にこびりつくので、あまり期待しないで子供向けを読んでみましたが、ワンパターンな内容ではなく話の展開がとっても楽しめるものでした。子供の頃、確かに読んだ記憶はあるが、こんなに面白いのに全く覚えていないのが残念だなと読んでいて思いました。 | ||||
