| Not one of my favorites. Goldy should be smarter than to let her son who doesn't know how to drive back down a drive. Tom sure spent a lot of time in the kitchen cooking instead of solving crimes. Just wasn't as much fun to read as some of her other books. | ||||

| Diane Mott Davidson is one of my favorite authors. Her books are fun, easy reads. This one, as with all the others, as very enjoyable. | ||||

| Now many times do we have to hear where the tomatoes come from? Can this woman stay in an upright position? She`s fallen and dropped moe food then she`s served. The business should be called Julian`s. He does more work then she does. | ||||

| Davidson is a superb writer, and DARK TORT is another example of her skill. She weaves excellent writing, the kind in which you can lose yourself, in with excellent storytelling, to produce a work that is well worth the time and money to read. Goldy Schultz is the unwilling hero of the stories in this series, bumbling along into situation after situation, uncovering clues and unable to just leave them alone or merely pass them along to her Sheriff husband. Davidson has blended a super story with edge-of-your-seat suspense with humor with superb writing transparency. I'll be reading more of these. | ||||

| I have read all of the Goldy Schulz books, and enjoy them as an easy read. Something to take my mind of the daily situations. I like the fact that she exercises and it encourages me to do the same. Have used many of the recipes, which are very good and give me motivation in that area of my life also. Thanks for the read. | ||||

| My bad! I accidentally bought the large print edition by mistake. I thought I would hate it, but I seemed to be able to read faster with this. I adore Davidson, so in my book, she cannot do anything wrong. Love all of her books. | ||||

| This novel is an easy read. It is a clean, comfortably engaging story. 'Dark Tort' is the kind of book I occasionally read to just "get away" and not think much! Davidson's characters are immensely likable, her plots are somewhat predictable, but that's what makes this book a nice escape! So much better than watching TV!!! | ||||
