| I recently read The Bomber with my book group in Stockholm. As a newbie to Sweden it was a great read to trace Annika's steps around this city and imagine the events in the book. Quite a dark tale but not too much gory details thankfully and the gender politics are skilfully utilised by the author. Can't wait to read the rest of Liza Marklund's works. | ||||

| Anniika Bengzton makes an indomitable and rather rash journalist, pursuing the story with zeal, when the female head of the Olympic committee is found murdered. Battling the staff and prejudice at her own evening newspaper and trying to keep her husband and children happy is no mean task. She puts her own life in great danger whilst pursuing a murderer who is completely insane with nothing to lose. Believe this is not the first in the series so will be looking forward to catching up with more of Annikas adventures. Really gripping as it progressed. | ||||

| This is the first of her crime novels featuring the journalist Annika Bengtzon. It is a very good first novel that keeps the reader guessing to the end. For those that want an introduction into Scandinavian crime writing, this is a good starting point | ||||
