| I've found other booka by Kaye much more enjoyable. Well written if you don't care that there is no conclusion. And way too much focus on Peter's pregnant wife. | ||||

| A very interesting book typical of Kellerman. The characters were interesting and not the usual run of the mill type. I haven't read one of her books in a long time and this one said not disappoint. A pleasure! | ||||

| In 'False Prophet', Faye Kellerman unveils some fairly twisted criminal misadventures committed by some true psychopaths. I've always enjoyed the personal / family aspects of the Lazarus / Decker series, and this book doesn't get as deep into that aspect as most of the others, but the crime / mystery aspects are full-force and in-your-face. This is a great addition to a legendary series. | ||||

| I've read a great of the books in the series. Most have been light and enjoyable reading a few have been excellent with a little substance to them. This one, however, had a weak story and poorly drawn characters. The characters were to call back on a reliable descriptive - cardboard. This made me think a little about Kellerman's last couple of books that seem to have lost a lot of the quality story telling f!avor that went through some of her other books. | ||||

| Premise was great. The complexities of the relationships were compelling until the end...things just kind of trickled down to a point of confusion. Sorry Faye. Not your best effort | ||||

| I'm a fan girl. Love the combination of Decker's complex family life with the tangle of this thoroughly dysfunctional family. Good, unusual plot line. | ||||

| I've been reading this series in order and have enjoyed all of the books until this one. There were too many characters, two many twists and an unrealistic situation to which there was no resolution. I hated all of the secondary/criminal characters and didn't feel connected to Decker, Rina or their children. This was Number 5 in the series and I understand that not all stories in a series will be good. This was one such story. All of my complaints notwithstanding, I have purchased the next book in the series for my Kindle and hope that it is better than this one. | ||||

| Faye Kellerman's books are not realistic police depictions and she bogs down on family relationships and Hebrew religious life | ||||

| After reading this episode in the series I felt cheated. Yes we knew what had happened and why, but there was no sense of justice. The perpetrators went un-punished and life for them went on as usual. I like a more satisfying ending where the bad guys get what’s coming to them. The writing was good as usual with lots of details but that alone cannot save this book | ||||

| I have read EVERY book in this series by Faye Kellerman; in fact, I have read many of her other books also and many of her husband's books too. I not only was fascinated by the characters in this series, but I also learned a lot about the Jewish faith and the meaning behind celebrations and words because I looked up things I didn't understand (thank goodness for Google) because her characters are so real that I wanted to know more about what they were doing. You will love not only this book but all of her books in the series and the characters portrayed in the books. | ||||
