アイデア自体がそれほど斬新ではなかったので、最後に思いがけないどんでん返しが待っているのかと期待したが、それほど感心するラストではなかった。
　悪くはないのだけど、後日書かれた探偵ものを何冊か先に読んで、すごくおもしろかったので勝手にハードルを上げてしまったのかもしれない。

This author is famous for fighting and action story, and most of his products are categorized in this genre. His representative work is [BE-BOP-HIGHSCHOOL]
I do not recommend this story to people who want to see someone’s growing up, or want to be moved by story. Conversely, I can recommend this story to people who don’t care about fruitless novel, and people who just want to be exciting.

Grand daughter of Ninagawa (the top of economic society) was killed by Kiyomaru Kunihide. Ninagawa published an unbelievable advertisement through every social media including advertisement in train. He intends to give billion yen on condition that two situation. First, person who were sentenced because of killing or injuring Kiyomaru. Second, someone who killed Kiyomaru under the national permission. Numerous riot police cooperated to save Kiyomaru while transporting him, but reward can make them be enemy of Mekari, and Shiraiwa. People even police try to kill Kiyomaru one after another in everywhere.

When I saw this book cover and introduction, I was interested in this story because police will save cruel killer in exchange for their life. I thought it would be certain that I can see police’s mental confusion and fighting with their own desire for wealth in presence. I guessed excitingly “how does he feel in that situation” and whether he will kill Kiyomaru or not. Actually there are main point of story.

This sentence was easy to read, because length of sentence is not so long, so I couldn’t stop reading. But there are too many short sentence in one paragraph, and each sentences are too easy. Most of sentence consist of subject and verb, so you may get tired of reading this, especially middle to the end.

I felt Mekari is calm and having justice in himself. He always tries to manage to save “killer” even if he lost his colleague, had desire for killing Kiyomaru and mental confusion. Kiyomaru will be about to be killed many times by people who saved him so reader might have sympathy for Kiyomaru. But it will vanish because it realized that his crazy mind beyonds our common sense, so reader will be disappointed and realized he is hopeless. In this story, many people are involved in this conflict, victim drags victim into swamp. I could understand that situation, but I couldn’t empathize in this story because mental description of each character were not enough. I think it would be key point There were some dark and sad past of main characters, but that background information didn’t work. Moreover, there was no enemy such as rightist and violence group in spite of story inclined that will happen. What is worse, Ninagawa withdrew his declaration. Where did main points go?? And nobody ended happily. I was disappointed. I couldn’t sleep.

What I want to say is there is no such feelings as joy, happy, pleasant and archievement while we're reading. One hate, struggling, confusion collide to each other, until the end. I like happy end or some fruitful story, so it was disgusting for me. But after reading this, I couldn't help thinking and asking yourself about your criterion to live.

大金を前にした時人はどう変わるのか、きっと過去にもそのような作品はあったと思う。
比較的身近な視点から読めるという点では高評価。
ノワールとも違う暗さがあり、パワフルで濃い話でした。
でも期待していたほどではなかったので残念。

この作品に対する感想の最大の分かれ目は文章力、でしょうね。
まぁ、文章の書き方が下手、肉付けが上手くない、そう言うことに起因して
こういった作風になるのでしょう。

ただ、個人的にはこういう書き口に抵抗はありません。
端々から人物像も浮かびました。

また、シナリオ的には少し無理がある設定ではありますが、
それを肯定的に受け入れれば、楽しめる内容だと思います。

警察官のウチ１％に不届きものが・・・
まぁ、１０億積まれてもこんな事に荷担する警察官が１％居るとはとうてい思えませんが
たまたまそう言う人物が居たとするならば、そう言う状況になれば
おのおのの人物（主に警護する側の警察官）の考え方、感じ方がそれぞれの方向を感じさせ
（人物描写に疎い書き口ではありますが）、各人の人となりを思わせるので悪くありません。

ただ、
襲いかかってくるのはみな単独犯で、組織的なものが皆無であったり、
（暴力団、左翼系、作中犯行を謳っているにもかかわらず登場しないのが不満）
当初想定の範囲であった大型の武器も登場せず、いささか盛り上げ不足でもありました。

それでも、個人的には最終局面まで楽しく読めましたが、ラスト付近が頂けませんでした。
主人公の心理状態を推し量るに、タクシードライバーの女性が（犯人の母の遺書に）
心動かされて泣き、だから、自分が運転を代わり、後部座席に犯人と２人にする、

・・・コレはさすがに酷い、
捜査員としてこんな事は絶対ありません、

また、懸賞金を取り下げてしまうくだりも、本作の出来を押し下げてしまうものに感じました。

映画が４月に公開されたということもあり、大沢たかおの表紙も追加されていてとてもよかったです。
ただ、文章が改行されているので普通の小説を読んでいると読みにくいです。映画とストーリーが少し違ったのですが私個人としては楽しめました。
