| Frighteningly real plot and an amazing storyline. I was on the edge of my seat all the way through. Vintage Dale Brown got me again, as he has all the way from McLanahan. Gotta love the guy. | ||||

| The story moves and is still a fun read. The idea of Iranian Moderates did not seem so ridiculous, the book came after Iran/Contra affair. The techno babble was still kept to a minimal. The characters are fine and help move the story along. It is one of the books I reread for the fun. | ||||

| Mr. Brown writes a very good story every time. I like that he is realistic enough that the heroes (the US military in all of his books so far) do not go untouched by defeat and setbacks in his books. Too often books of this genre seem to make the heroes almost invincible. I am glad Mr. Brown is such a prolific writer. On to his next book. | ||||

| The suspense continued to build from one disaster to the next. How was the USA going to become the victor. At the end everything worked out, which was to be expected, but the USSR still occupied Iran. To me the book was incomplete without the USSR being driven out of Iran. | ||||

| I've always liked Dale's technical knowledge - always coming up with new specialties in weapons. His characters are always complex with surprising relationships developing. If you like military/techno/political thrillers, I highly recommend him. | ||||
