| We chose this book for our local book club after reading an article about some of the pioneering female thriller authors. It definitely had some unique twists. It had several strong female characters. We enjoyed reading it. | ||||

| This was my first Gayle Lynds read, my first encounter with protagonist Liz Sansborough. This was also my second copy of the book. Right now, much later (2019), I crave another Liz Sansborough thriller. Her prowess, connections and skill set make her an outstanding female action hero. Meanwhile, I don't have a copy of The Coil at home, but I fortunately have Masquerade, which I started before a summer business digression. So, why not go back and finish it starting this holiday weekend! | ||||

| Gayle Lynds is one of my favorite spy thriller authors! She loosely spins a web connecting seemingly disparate people and events. Then, towards the end of the book, she pulls a single thread and pulls the all together. She leaves Robert Ludlum in the dust. If you read one of her books, you may have to read them all! | ||||
