精神病の人視点で描いていくのは斬新かもしれないが、やはりそれだと支離滅裂になるので、話は意味不明なものになる。出来れば話の展開で魅力してもらいたかったが、それもなく退屈で仕方がなかった。

以前から読んでみたいと思っていましたが、なかなか手に取ることを躊躇してしまう表紙だったため、楽天ブックスで購入しました。
文体、表現、作風、あらすじ、どれをとっても独特なものがあり、読み始めはなかなか馴染むことができませんでした。一度諦めかけましたが、読み進めるにつれて、自分なりにテンポをつかんで読むことができました。
他の小説に比べて、時間はかかりましたが、読み応えのある作品だと思います。興味をもった人は一度手にとって読んでみることをお勧めします。読了できるかどうかは、微妙かもしれませんが・・・。

Certainly, psychiatric patients at the time were treated so badly as to say that they were treated less than dogs. It's okay to talk about it in the form of liberation treatment, but it was already claimed by Pinel in 1793.
Of course, it was written without the knowledge of the author, or even without studying, but the endless original theory is endlessly repeated, and the same content is repeated. A terrible word.
Dr. Pinel's view of respecting the human rights of patients, rather than the doctrine, is more intense, and Yumeno isn't quite convinced that it has been neglected. I guess it's going to work out by making it all humanity or better, but it's too easy. Until it is said that it is Yumeno's work.

I first read it when I was in high school, but I quit reading on the way.
A few years later, I started reading again, but I threw it out along the way.

冒頭から独特の世界観漂ってます。精神の病に侵された青年の話しだったと思いますが作者の意図していることが病人への深い同情なのかそれともただ単に精神の病という題材を奇妙キテレツでグロテスクなテーマとして扱っているのかわかりかねます。読む方々によって意見が分かれるでしょう。特に私は頻繁に現れる奇妙な唄「チャカポコチャカポコ云々●●●●地獄よ〜」という節が何度も何度も出てくるのに耐えられませんでした。人によって受け取り方は違うと思いますが私には作者が特定の病人を蔑視し、罵倒しているように感じられ憤りを感じてしまい読む気が一気に失せました！もし作者が生きておられたらどういう意図でこの小説を書かれたのか是非お聞きしたいです。

夢野久作を政治的にクソ真面目な人だと思っている。

　「瓶詰の地獄」では無人島に流されて妹とセックスした男が罪の意識に苛まれたりするが、それ、そんな地獄とか大袈裟に悩む話ですか？と、私なんかは思ってしまった。そりゃ、社会的にはまずかろうけども、そういう話でもない。

　「ドグラマグラ」も、何の話かはさっぱり分からないが、精神病患者をもっと大切にせんか！！ということが書いてあるのは確かで、そんなアブノーマルな話じゃないと思うんだが・・・。なんで、この表紙？

　真面目な人が、屈折した手法で、やっぱり政治的に真面目なことを主張している小説という印象で、別に面白くはなかった。

有名だから？読んでみましたが、３ページでギブアップです。愛好家にはたまらない本なんでしょうけれど、普通の読書人には無理！

大人になったら、読んでみたいと思っていた1冊。
こんな形で出会えるとは思っていなかったけど、まあ、死ぬまでにはであえたということで。
僕の周りでは、それなりの知名度もあって、有名な作品であることは知っていたけど手に取ってみたのは（といっても青空文庫をキンドルでではあるけど）初めてだった。
久作氏の作品はこれのほかには、「少女地獄」しか読んだことがないのだけど、これは、無理だった。1/3ぐらいは行ったかもしれないけど、くどすぎて、もう、ページをくくる元気が出なかった。
別のシーズンにまた、再挑戦してみようと思った。
