A good plot but spoilt by using too many buzzwords, initials and technical data which padded the story without adding to it. Part way through reading the book I was seriously tempted to abandon it as I was fed up with all the technical jargon which added little. I persevered to the end and it was quite entertaining - when you got under the fluff and into the story

I liked this book because it held your attention, I didn't want to put the book down. The rating was the highest I could give. I would recommend it to anyone that likes to fly.

Although extensive descriptions of dog fighting in the air made several sections very slow, I enjoyed the story a lot.

Another very good Dale Brown book, great for that late night read on the kindle. Some possible glimpses into future aircraft design etc.

Dale Brown has always instilled the ability of the reader to feel like he or she was in the pilots seat. You sometimes find yourselves twisting and turning like the aircraft in his books.

Excellent story. Dale Brown's books hook you right from the start. Futuristic high tech but somewhat believable and the good mixture of technical jargon seems to sit very well in all his stories. While each story is stand-alone, it somewhat pays to read them in order, as there is an occasional reference back to another story. You can see a timeline here

This book is a little more 'way-out' than some of his others (mind control of an experimental fighter) and when you see it was written in 1989, it must have seemed more science fiction like back then.
Based on my past good experiences with Mr Brown's books, I am working my way up this timeline.
No hesitation in giving a 5 star review.
