This is an exciting adventure novel with a twisting plot. Patrick McClanahan saves the day once again. There were lots of surprises and it was a difficult book to put down. I thought there was an over abundance of detail with acronyms and military abbreviations and more biographical data on some of the characters than necessary. Other than that, it was a good read. I'm well into the next book in the series.

The story line was very good, but the detail of flight controls and handling of the aircraft was too long and detailed.

I'm an engineer, and this was still too much technical jargon for me. I found myself just skipping over a bunch of that, and there was A LOT. But since it didn't cost me much (somewhere between free and $1.99) to download, it was OK.

Dale Brown's first book, "Flight of the Old Dog" was fun although implausible. I bought this book because I thought it might also be fun

This kindle version has many typos that need to be fixed. One can figure out the words, but it is a bit annoying.

This was an OK read, but it wasn't as good as some of Dale Brown's other books. The aerial combat descriptions seemed unrealistic and to predictable.
