Sometimes just too much

It is really an enjoyable book. You really get involved in the dog-fights, but the part where 5 guys cannot take one armed guy out even when he is down but rather ran away is a little unlikely I would say.

Good story line, but pitiful editing.

The story kept me interested even through some of the worst editing I've ever seen. I don't know if the author submitted his work in such terrible shape that the editor could not keep up, or if the mistakes happened after the editor handed it over.

Good read but a bit far out. Last couple of chapters were a bit slow. Descriptions of actions kinda long.

Good Storyline, spoilt by too many buzzwords

A good plot but spoilt by using too many buzzwords, initials and technical data which padded the story without adding to it. Part way through reading the book I was seriously tempted to abandon it as I was fed up with all the technical jargon which added little. I persevered to the end and it was quite entertaining - when you got under the fluff and into the story

Action and surprise and more action

This book was full of suspense. It is too wordy and blah in sections. He goes into too much technical detail that sometimes glazes over the eyes. The characters were likeable. In fact, so likeable, I was rooting for the bad guy in some places. Yet, with all the slow spots and technobabble, I couldn't put it down. His hero is flawed but loveable. He's somewhat of a dare devil and when he can't abide by the rules, He stretches them too the limit. Readers who enjoy Clancy, will like this book.
