| So far, I've loved all the books I've read by Tess Gerritsen. Another mind gripper without letting realise who the killer is until the end. | ||||

| While reading this book I flipped back To see the copyright date because there were discrepancies, such as phone calls from a landline. The book showed a 2015 copyright date but reading others reviews I learned that this was written in 1990 and 2015 must be the Kindle date. That told me two things: that she was younger when she wrote this but I still couldn't help comparing this to her more recent books; and that cell phones weren't yet ubiquitous. I read this after reading some non-fiction that were heavy topics and I was looking for a light quick read. With that in mind, it deserves 4 stars. If I were to add the burden of comparing it to her more recent works I would have rated it lower. It would be great vacation book. | ||||
