David Morrell one of my favourite authors I enjoy all his books.

a page turn. full of suspense. great read.

I have always been a fan of David morrell's writing and this book does not disappoint. Great characters and great action. A very well written spy novel. Also check out the brotherhood of the rose and the league of night and fog.

Great Book. David Morrell never disappoints. I recommend it.

Good book!!!

Good book, really like David Morrell

Although the Brotherhood of the Rose is the real next to last penultimate rewriting. I think the plot lines are thin, and the angst suffered by Chris in the "...Rose," and Drew in this novella are at best mirror images, this one has redeeming characteristics. The descriptions of fighting with total sensory deprivation are outstanding.

The orphan child guided by the loving but sinister foster-father indicates a lack of imagination by the author, or formula writing makes sequels. This segment was as one dimensional as its predecessor but had greater detail to the scenario. And least I forget, the woman with the great body figures prominently here too, except she has a different name. Form before function!

On to the expected last book by this author I intend to read.

Expected more from the plot. Formula adventure story with little in the way of surprises. Too many contrived situations and not enough imagination.

The book started with a flourish but did not finish in the same style. An OK read but would not put it up there with the better ones of the author that I have read.

i liked it, quite nice, enough fast but i think that The Brotherhood of the Rose was a better book

What an amazing book!!! What an amazing author!!!! I can't wait to start the next book!!! Thank goodness I have only discovered this author and have a lot of reading ahead!! I highly recommend this book!

I got hooked on David Morrell's books a few years back. I think I have read them all and you will not be disappointed. He is an incredible author of the highest caliber!!!! Love his work!!!! This was the first "E" book I tried on my android phone with kindle app, actually works pretty good.

I read this because I was told that Morrell is one of the ultimate writers of the American patriot/hero type of book. I disagree. Not at all believable. Seemed to be made up as he went along. Sorry, but no more Morrell for me.

Another amazing thriller by David Morrell. Fast paced, a real page turner from the beginning until the end. Lots of
detail, especially in the combat scenes. I am looking forward to finishing the trilogy with the League of Night and Fog,
There is so much suspense in this book that you will not want to put it down. Lots of twists and turns. David Morrell does not
disappoint his readers, once again. He is one of my favorite suspense authors, by far!!! I loved this book and whomever
reads it will not be disappointed.

Very good. Enjoyed the religious and espionage links. Utilising historic influence to provide a connection that kept the suspense going.

Mr. Morrell's writing always had me on the edge of my seat. Love his very ethical characters. His plots are original. He shoots to the top of my list of favorite authors.

Hard to put down. A page turner, albeit with some implausible recovery /survival events. But with only a limited number of main characters, some superhero characteristics are necessary. Will read more of this author.
