A good thriller

It has a rich set of characters and many sub-plots across the story line. Some times I found myself flipping back a few pages or a chapter or two to refresh my memory as to which set of characters I was dealing with in this section of the book.

Read the trilogy first

Lots of threads. Keeps you on your toes. Very entertaining and stimulating!. strongly recommend these books. Going to read the first two in the trilogy.

The league of night and fog.

Fabulous book. Terrific and confusing twists and turns. Hard to put down. Hated to see it end. On to the next book.

Can’t put it down

Good book disappointing spelling and grammar

David Morrell is a great author, the amount of spelling mistakes and typing errors is most distracting. Hopefully this will be corrected

Convoluted

Overly complex at the expense of flow. Recommend staying with the first two books as standalone. If League is read, do read the trailing short story which adds some closure and context.

My condolences to all who lose their children prematurely, no child should predecease their parents...

Decent mystery

I didn't look at the publication date before I bought this so it was a little disconcerting to read a n "older" story a la early Jack Reacher. The story was interesting if pretty unbelievable. Not enough to make me continue reading the series but not a waste of time either.

High intrigue.

Loved the convoluted story and character development. Good action that was worked into the plot line was delightful. As usual, some of the twists and turns were a bit contrived, but enjoyable. I can recommend this to those of us readers who addicted to espionage thrillers.

Starts out interestingly...

Book starts out with some solid history then turns into yet another holocaust, Nazi, mossad, related unrealistically over structured, seemingly historical thriller. Does someone pay for one of these to be written every year? Characters are all super men and women speaking multiple languages and skilled in every art. I stopped reading halfway through.

Fits me like a glove

I am a huge fan of the series this was the last one of the series that I've read and it did not disappoint. there was a nice level of complexity, there were different layers to the book, and as a reader who likes to figure out the finish before the end I was unable to and that is always a pleasant surprise for me.
