Lots of military jargon

Ok but slow reading through all the military jargon. Pretty predictable plot. Not something I would read again for a second time.

Riviting!

Detailed and clear descriptions of warfare, military command, structure and state of the art inventions of war. I like a long, fast paced book with character development and a set up for the next book of the series. I applaud the insertion of multinational military professionals who are true to their country and their countrymen and women! A great read!

good pace with a great plot

good pace with a great plot. Dale Brown is a wiz at keeping your interest and the many subplots going on and the finish is as good as it gets

Fun read

While a bit heavy on airplane electronics and weaponry details, it was quite entertaining and we'll worth the hours. I truly enjoy all of Mr. Brown's novels.

Interesting read!

The author brings the reader into World politics. Based around NATO and Russia. I recommend this to historical fiction readers.

All about facts

Read it in about an hour after I figured out to skip through all the fighter plane bs. Seriously only for real fighter pilots I think. As I am not one I have no idea. But all said, more like a movie script and documentary than fiction. Not what was looking for but stuck with it to the end.

Memories

As I was reading this it started to bring back the memories. The force reduction was a change for the best according to the bean counters. But the damage was not visible until desert storm. But the story line was handled beautifully. As for accuracy of the procedures I didn't see any fault. The general feeling for the women in the trenches was pretty close to truth. It is a good read I enjoyed it will suggest it if asked.

I've ready this book before many years ago. The book progresses much slower than I remember. I know the book will pick up because I have read many Dale Brown books and they all become suspenseful at some point. The next one I pick up probably won't let me put in down.

A great read.

I particularly liked the tremendous amount of military detail in this story. As I read it I was very much reminded of Tom Clancy's military-oriented books.
