Great squeal to The Brother Hood of the Rose and the Fraternity of the Stone.

Good historical and accurate story of Germany in second world war. I enjoyed it a lot.

I was drawn to this book by its title and cover art, but the storyline kept me riveted to the very end. I felt as if I knew these characters, and it turns out I did know them from two prior books (The Brotherhood of the Rose, and The Fraternity of the Stone) which I had read over 30 years ago! Night & Fog completes a trilogy, but in this edition, the author has also provided an addendum that ties up all the loose ends left when he made a personal decision not to write a fourth book, so I'm glad I didn't read it until now. If you like mystery, conspiracy, and covert operations, you'll love this book!

Exciting story! The Night & Fog was a Nazi tactic used to punish people who rebelled. They would kidnap folks and their families would NEVER hear what became of them. It was a very good terror tactic. Now many prominent men are missing with no apparent ties. Their children start searching for their missing fathers. The reader is trailing along with the searchers looking for clues as to who took these men and how are they tied to other missing men. Several stories come together eventually. I enjoyed the ride very much. This was not book 1 of the series (which I didn't know) but it was fine as a stand alone.

This book was GREAT!!! Second time reading it and it was just as un-put-downable as the first time I read it years ago. Highly recommend this book.

It is exactly what it said it was

A great ending to Morrell's loose trilogy. I love the characters created in The Brotherhood of the Rose and The Fraternity of the Stone. It was great to bring them all together for The League of Night and Fog. Very well written and suspenseful. Kept me turning the pages.

I read this many years ago and enjoyed it more then. It seems much less realistic now, and more preachy.

What an amazing story! Could not put the book until it was over! And I verified the references to events quoted early in the book and my husband, the historian, confirmed the to be true. Well worth the read and you get a WW2 education as a bonus.

The League of Night and Fog is a worthless addition to Morrell's works. The characters are vivid, the action nonstop and the mysteries fascinating and absorbing. Men and women trapped in a web of intrigue dating back to the Second World War, they must struggle to save themselves and others as the travel around the world searching for answers.

Got to revisit a favorite. David Morrell was a favovorite of mine years ago. He is a great writer and the reader can easily get attached the main characters. I highly recommend this book but would suggest reading a couple of his previous works like The Brotherhood of the Rose so you have a better feel for what is going on.

A very good read, a unique approach to telling a story that keeps you interested. I would recommend it without reservation.

As with all his writing, this suspense novel is polished. The plot is complex and well constructed building suspense to keep you turning the page. The characters involve you in their goals and challenges; you definitely care what happens to them. At the beginning, you aren't quite sure who the "bad guys" are. The historical aspects of the book are well researched, too.
