| This book is not one that will make you feel good by telling you what you already know. After the first pages, I was HOOKED. Love this author style. This is a tremendous treasure of a book and I'm sure it's staying in my read again list for a long time. Before reading this book, I did some research about the author and listened to a few of interviews. | ||||

| I read this book in two days. I would have finished it in one, but when I got halfway through it, I realized that I didn't want it to end. So I slowed down. I loved this book from the very first sentence to the very last sentence. This is quite frankly, the best novel. This book is so compelling! I can't recommend it highly enough | ||||

| First of all this is the best writer I have read in a very long time. Thoughts and events are communicated clearly and in each event the writer paints a clear picture in your head I loved this book. Completely different than I expected, but in a refreshing way. I hate reading reviews that give everything away, so as a heads up, there are no spoilers here. I was hesitant to purchase this book to read on my kindle, but am so glad that I did. Loved this book. | 多分時代は第一次世界大戦後、第二次世界大戦前だと思います。その為敵はロシア(ソ連)の共産主義であり、日本は他国と共存しているし国連常任国であったためか、正義の国となっています。科学的には理屈に合わないことがたくさんでてきますが、ただの海洋学者の主人公が007のごとき活躍でロシアの基地を破壊します。作者の日本びいきや軍事に対する考えには疑問があっても、SF的には良く考えられていると思います。 | ||||
