I chose this book out of the 6 options for the Kindle First Reads Program. I didn't expect to like it thinking it was a fantasy based book which is not my usual choice but the others did not catch my interests at all
It's not a book about happy endings, rather, it's a book about how complex life in a small town can be, when it seems like everything should be so simple.
I found this approach to be deeply soothing and engaging, in a way that touched me deep in my core.

I literally sat and stared into space for an hour after I finished this book, contemplating it and wishing it hadn’t ended. I may just have to re-read it.
This is the second book I have read in this series and it is a quick read like her first book.
This book is captivating from the first page to the last. So many times I wanted to reach into the book and talk to my mom!

I devoured this book the first time through because I had to know what happened in it
I loved this book. I notice that some of the negative reviews thought the narrative was improbable and they did not like the ending.
This book has given me more than I could have asked for.
This book if for all the struggling souls in the internet age.

I gave this book five stars because it was a thoroughly enjoyable read. I have never been disappointed by this author's books. Unfortunately, now I have to wait for the next one.
It's one of those books where you can start at the beginning middle or end and enjoy it every time. I bought a few copies as gifts for my kids' history teacher, math teacher, and language teacher. Also, a gift for my uncle and for one of my friends. Recommended.

I knew nothing else about it and that served me well as I did not know there was a big surprise twist coming.
Wow. Hated to see intend. Almost too gruesome, in parts, seriously, thought I couldn't continue. Glad I did tho. Crazy characters, for sure.
